French Empire Style Four Light Chandelier. Late 20th Centurydecorative French Empire style four light chandelier, the black painted and gilt-metal frame suspended from a cast foliate ceiling rose by four slender supports. Four scrolling candle arms with gilt floral ornament, each fitted with burgundy tole-style shades. Richly decorated with classical Empire motifs including acanthus, anthemion and rosette detailing. A striking decorative lighting piece ideal for a dining room, hallway or library interior.
Dimensions: 50cmwide - bulb holder to bulb holder x 66cm drop.
Condition: Overall good condition, would benefit from new shades, lacks the plate that fixes to the ceiling
