Early 20th Century Bamboo Occasional Table.Early 20th century bamboo occasional table with an octagonal painted top and wonderfully timeworn surface. The slender bamboo frame is constructed with four upright supports, angled corner braces and a lower stretcher arrangement, giving the table a light architectural form typical of the periods fascination with East Asian-inspired interiors. The octagonal top is finished in muted russet, ochre and black tones with simple linear decoration.A useful height and scale for use as a lamp table, plant stand or occasional table, with the worn painted surface and bamboo construction giving it plenty of decorative appeal.

Condition:Antique condition with age related wear. Two of the small diagonal bamboo corner braces beneath the top are missing.Please refer closely to the photographs for the overall condition and the missing elements.
