An early 20th century low stool in the Chinese Chippendale style, featuring a black lacquered frame highlighted with gilt painted detail. Traces of the original painted decoration remain visible and contribute to its attractive age-related character. Compact and versatile in form, this decorative stool offers restoration potential and would suit use as an accent piece or occasional seating once reupholstered.
Dimensions: 37 cm wide × 47 cm deep × 27 cm high.
Condition: For reupholstery. Missing one of the geometric corner brackets and missing the central stretcher.
