Arts & Crafts Carved Oak Sailing Ship Firescreen.Early 20th Century carved oak decorative firescreen or hearth panel, featuring a sailing ship in relief within a circular frame. Executed in the Arts & Crafts tradition, the piece displays strong hand carved detail throughout, with stylised waves, billowing sails and bold geometric carving lending a distinctive folk art quality.The warm quarter-sawn oak displays attractive grain and rich colour, while the freestanding form allows the piece to be used as a firescreen, hearth decoration, shelf display or wall-mounted nautical artwork. A particularly decorative example with excellent presence and maritime appeal.
