Antique beech and rush Arts & Crafts style occasional chair. Late 19th century occasional chair with a stained beech frame in a simple traditional design. Featuring a shaped pierced back with vertical splats, gently curved arms, and turned supports and legs. The seat is woven in natural rush, providing a sturdy and practical finish. A classic chair suitable for use in a dining room, kitchen, or study.
Dimensions: 59cm wide x 48cm deep x 43cm seat height x 63cm arm height x 90cm high back
Condition: Solid and sturdy with general age-related wear. Repair to the centre of the rush seat using sisal, consistent with age and use.
Delivery: £75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This service includes a two-person delivery team, with delivery to a room of choice (up to one flight of stairs). Delivery is typically completed within 4–7 working days. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving additional stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
