17th Century Style Oak Joint Stool / Side Table.Early 20th Century oak joint stool in the 17th century manner, featuring a moulded plank top above a deeply carved frieze with repeating gothic arcade decoration. Raised on bold turned and block supports united by stretchers.Constructed using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, this classic form represents one of the most enduring designs in English vernacular furniture.
