18th Century Oak Mule Chest. Early 18th Century mule chest, planked oak hinged top the front with eight recessed rectangular panels and a pair of short drawers with conforming fronts and a single long shallow drawer, all with drop handles and elaborate escutcheons, with panelled sides and bracket feet.

Dimensions: 141cm wide x 61cm deep x 92cm high

Condition: Solid condition, reinforcements to the inside of the lid, oldpeeling paper lining to the inside of the chest, age and wear commensurate with age, the drawers have been lined with thin board as the old board is damaged - please refer to the photos, evidence of woodworm - this has been treated as a precaution, scratches and marks to the top.
