Victorian Mahogany Occasional Chair
A charming Victorian mahogany occasional chair featuring a balloon back and upholstered seat, ideal as a bedroom or dressing chair. The frame is constructed in rich mahogany with a carved and moulded seat rail and supported on elegant turned front legs with decorative roundel carving. Raised on original style ceramic castors, the chair moves with ease while retaining period character.
Upholstered in a pale cream fabric with a delicate blue floral design and finished with decorative braid trim, this versatile Victorian chair would make an attractive addition to a hallway, sitting room, or dressing area.
Dimensions: 47 cm wide × 52 cm deep × 38 cm seat height × 94 cm high back.
Condition: Good, with general age and wear commensurate with age. The upholstery is in good clean condition with a few small spot marks. Evidence of historic woodworm under the seat has been treated as a precaution.
Delivery: £75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This service includes a two-person delivery team, with delivery to a room of choice (up to one flight of stairs). Delivery is typically completed within 4–7 working days. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving additional stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
