Moorcroft Powder Blue Pottery Lamp.A genuine Moorcroft "Powder Blue" pottery lamp base, of ribbed baluster form, in the characteristic speckled blue-on-blue glaze. Converted for use as a lamp, with a turned wooden plug fitted to the top of the vase carrying the brass gallery. The underside retains the original paper label reading "W. Moorcroft, Hand Made Pottery" along with an impressed mark. A lovely piece of genuine studio pottery from one of Britain's most celebrated art pottery makers

Condition:Good condition with genuine age-related glaze crazing throughout, typical of Moorcroft ware of this age. Paper label present but worn, as expected.

Free delivery is available on small items and selected smaller pieces of furniture. This covers UK mainland addresses only and excludes the Highlands and Islands.
