Large Louis XV Style Stool

Large Louis XV Style Stool. A decorative late 20th century French style wood stool of serpentine form, in the Louis XV style. The carved giltwood frame features flowing cabriole legs with acanthus and scroll detailing to the knees, united by a shaped apron with moulded ornament. The upholstery is worn and would benefit from reupholstery. A decorative and versatile piece, ideal as a large footstool
