Antique Chinese Carved Hardwood Quartetto Nest of Tables.A quartetto nest of four graduated occasional tables in carved Chinese hardwood, 19th/early 20th century. Each table has a glass-protected top above a pierced and carved frieze of grapevine and foliate decoration, raised on elegant bamboo-form legs joined by a shaped stretcher. The set nests neatly together, the smallest table sliding fully within the largest. Rich dark patina throughout, with fine detailed carving to each frieze.
Dimensions: 50cm x 36cm x 72cm high
Condition:Genuine age related wear and rich patina throughout, consistent with the period. Carving crisp and largely undamaged, with minor surface marks and light scratching to the glass tops (see close-up photography) cosmetic only. All four tables structurally sound and stable.
Delivery: 75 flat rate for England and Wales only. This is an economy service with a two-person team, delivering to a ground floor room of choice. Please contact us prior to purchase for deliveries involving stairs, restricted access, Scotland, or if an express service is required.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
