A characterful antique Victorian occasional chair featuring an elegant ebonised finish with turned spindle back supports and shaped open arms. The chair is fitted with an upholstered seat pad in a floral fabric and raised on turned splayed legs, creating a refined silhouette typical of late Victorian decorative seating.
Compact in scale and decorative in appearance, this piece works beautifully as an occasional chair for a bedroom, hallway, study or traditional interior setting.
The chair remains in good solid condition with age-related wear and restoration history adding to its authentic antique character. The frame has been refinished at some point and would benefit from recovering the upholstered seat if desired.

We offer free cancellation or a full refund on any order prior to dispatch.
Delivery can usually be arranged on a day that suits you — simply leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date.
We offer a flat-rate delivery service of £75 across England & Wales. For deliveries to Scotland, please contact us for a tailored quote due to distance. You are also very welcome to collect your item in person from our warehouse.
Most deliveries are completed within 3–5 working days from dispatch. If you require an expedited service, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
If you would like to delay dispatch for a few weeks, please add a note at checkout and we will happily hold your item. For longer-term storage, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Our delivery service is carried out by a two-person team and includes delivery to your room of choice. This covers up to one flight of stairs. If delivery is required to a second floor or above, please notify us in advance as a £15 surcharge per floor will apply.
Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery. If you have any concerns regarding access, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
For your peace of mind, we provide a 30-day returns period. In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or is not as described, we will arrange a free return. For all other returns, please contact us to discuss options.
Many of our pieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some signs of wear may be present. We always aim to describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible.
