Japanese Meiji Shodana Cabinet. Antique Japanese Meiji period shodana cabinet, arrangement of small cupboards with black lacquer sliding doors & open shelves with ornately carved and pierced foliate panels the cabinet stands on a small base with scrolled legs.

Dimensions: 126cm wide x 38cm deep x 176m high, the body measures 106cm wide x 32cm deep.

Condition: The cabinet has been treated for extinct woodworm throughout, historic worm present in many of the panels - please refer to the photos. General age and wear to the lacquer and finish on the door and drawer fronts, missing a small panel to the interior of open recess.
