English Cast Iron Fire Back. Mid-17th century large fire back, Depicting a heraldic lion, thistle, rose and fleur-de-lys, of cusped arched rectangular shape with ovolo edging, date split between bottom corners and reading: '1644'.

Dimensions: 79cm wide x 2.5cm x 82cm high.
