17th Century Oak Chest. English oak chest from the second half of the 17th Century, the hinged top enclosing a void interior with a lidded till, the front with a frieze incised with connected roundels above three panels inlaid with chequered lozenges within chip-carved stiles.
Dimensions: 116cm wide x 49cm deep x 58cm high
Condition: Solid condition, later hinges, the legs have been reduced at some point, split in the lid, possibly later lid?
