Each has an open bookcase top with a shaped arch and adjustable shelves, flanked by carved cherub masks framed in acanthus foliage to the upper corners, with a further carved cherub mask and scrolling foliate frieze to the cabinet below. The cupboard door is carved and pierced with dense scrolling acanthus and a central flowerhead, opening to reveal an internal shelf. Raised on a plinth base. The carving throughout is of exceptional quality and depth, with rich colour and patina to the oak.
