The top has been later decorated with military badges and insignia associated with The Norfolk Regiment, including references to the 9th East Norfolk Regiment, together with playing card motifs, giving the piece a distinctive decorative and conversation-starting character. The black painted finish contrasts well with the gilt and coloured decoration to the top, while the simple pedestal base and tripod form give it a pleasing, slightly folk-art appearance. A decorative and unusual piece, well suited as a lamp table, wine table or occasional table.

Dimensions: 49cm x 59cm x 73cm high

Condition:Overall good decorative condition with general age-related wear, scratches, scuffs and marks throughout.
