Mahogany tilt top occasional table dating from the second half of the 19th century. The rectangular top has softly rounded corners and a beautifully aged mahogany surface with a rich, warm patina, supported on an elegantly turned central pedestal and three swept legs terminating in rounded bun feet. The traditional tilt top mechanism allows the top to be raised vertically when not in use, making this a particularly practical and versatile piece. With its simple proportions and understated decorative detailing, it would work equally well as a lamp table, occasional table or small side table in a traditional or contemporary interior.

Dimensions: 56cm x 61cm x 73cm high

Condition:Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use.
