The top has softly canted corners and a broad moulded edge with carefully arranged walnut veneers creating a particularly attractive symmetrical grain pattern across the surface. The two broad rectangular pedestal legs are also veneered in figured walnut and finished with contrasting dark bands around the bases. The table dismantles with the two pedestal legs removing from the top. Due to the original positioning and construction of the pedestal supports beneath the top there is insufficient knee space for comfortable use as a dining table and we therefore recommend this piece as a large console side or display table.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDimensions:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition:Good vintage condition with marks scratches knocks and wear throughout consistent with age and use. There is fading and variation to the colour and finish of the walnut together with surface marks and wear to the top. Some small losses and wear to the veneers and edges. The underside shows age-related marks and wear. The pedestal legs are removable as part of the original construction.
